High-performance digital piano

Alesis Prestige Digital Piano

Alesis presents the Prestige: A digital piano that lets you enjoy the authentic sound of a real acoustic piano in the comfort of your own four walls. It features 88 keys with a special mechanism for enhanced playing comfort, 16 different pre-programmed sounds, and a range of dedicated functions to help you practise effectively and get ready for that next performance, including a built-in metronome, 10 demo songs, and a split and layer function. What is more, the Prestige’s special speakers ensure a full sound with excellent clarity. The Prestige differs from the slightly more expensive Prestige Artist model in terms of polyphony and number of sounds available, and in that it does not feature an additional OLED display. Both models make a convincing case in a range of situations thanks to their compact design and the flexible practice options they offer.

Alesis Prestige Digital Piano

Authentic-sounding and versatile

The Prestige’s keys are designed with a graded hammer action and adjustable velocity sensitivity, and the 16 sounds – which include Grand, Dark, Bright, Harpsichord, Strings, Poly Synth, and Synth Bass – have been created using sound sampling technology to ensure complete authenticity. The Prestige also features a 128-note polyphony. The sound can be refined and customised even further using the five selectable on-board reverb effects with adjustable intensity, and the arpeggiator can be used to create melodies. The two integrated micro-array speakers have a power rating of 25 watts each and faithfully reproduce the entire spectrum of sounds. The Prestige’s rear panel features a connection for the included sustain pedal as well as stereo outputs and an AUX input.

Your compact practice companion

The Prestige is ideal for both beginners and professionals looking for a compact digital piano that combines authentic-sounding tones with a wide range of practice options and is also suitable for small performances. What is more, the Prestige’s USB interface means that it can be used to control your DAW’s software instruments, such as virtual synthesizers. The front panel features a pair of headphone outputs that automatically mute the speakers when in use, a practical feature that allows pupils and teachers to practise silently. The digital piano’s robust and compact design makes it easy to transport, so it can be set up and packed away again quickly, whatever the location. The scope of delivery also includes a music rest, a sustain pedal, and a power supply. A three-pedal unit (available as an optional accessory) can also be connected.

About Alesis

Alesis was founded in 1984 by Keith Barr in Hollywood, California, and has become one of the leading manufacturers of signal processors, drum machines, synthesizers, and other studio equipment. The company’s most successful products during its early years were the MIDIverb, the HR-16 drum machine, and the ADAT multitrack digital recorders. In 2001, Alesis was acquired by Numark owner Jack O’Donnell and is now part of his InMusic parent company alongside brands like AKAI, Denon, and many other well-known names in the audio manufacturing industry. Alesis has also been a major player in the field of e-drums for many years and offers a large choice of products in all price ranges.

Diversified learning

The Prestige’s layer and split function lets you play two sounds across the entire keyboard. In learning mode, the digital piano’s 88 keys are divided into two sections, allowing the pupil and teacher to play on the same instrument simultaneously. The metronome provides tempos ranging from 30 to 280bpm, and players can easily monitor their progress by recording and playing back their entire performances using the Prestige’s internal memory. The package is rounded off by a selection of more than 60 interactive lessons from Melodics for both desktop and tablet computers, which let you practise along to modern songs and provide immediate feedback.

CL
Alesis Prestige happy buyer.

My Alesis Prestige arrived a few days ago in perfect condition after shipping from Germany to Ireland. I’m getting back into piano and headphone use is ideal for practicing. The weighted graduated keys feel like a real piano. The sound from the speakers has plenty of volume at 25 watts per channel stereo. It sounds like a real piano on concer grand setting. I especially like that I don’t have to keep referring to the manual. All the settings are clearly displayed above the keys. This is really important to me, to get the most use from it. The damper pedal did not seem to be up to the standard of the instrument so I bought a better quality item from Thomann. Finally the 3 year warranty gives me great confidence in the product.

La base, pas plus
Matatato 21.11.2021

Gros moins: clavier bruyant

Gute Pianosounds
kleinerbaer1970 14.11.2022
Die Pianosounds sind echt klasse. Orgeln, Synth usw. sind okay. Aber da es mir in der Hauptsache auf das Klavier und die Tastatur ankam, bin ich sehr zufrieden. Die Tastatur ist wirklich schön.
