Not Good for Instruments

At first, I disliked this DI box - since it seemed to warm the low end a lot. However, once I learned how to use the onboard features (ground lift, pad etc) the sound clean up tremendously.

So 50/50 - I was a little unfair initially, but also the design could probably be improved to be more intuitive.

Works well for my purposes

I am using this to interface with the TRRS (intended to be used for phone) I/O of a Rodecaster pro, which is otherwise very sensitive to ground loop noise.

Rode AI-1 monitor outputs -> two channels of the Berringer DI -> TRRS audio inputs.
TRRS audio output -> Berringer DI -> ATEM Mini video switcher.

Ground lift on all channels almost completely eliminates horrible ground loop noise.

I am using the +20 dB on 2 channels and the sound remains quite clean.

The sound is not quite as clean as some of the really high end DIs but god value for money and does the job well.

Perfekt im E-Drum-Rack

Nutze die DI-Box in meinem E-Drumrack.
So kann ich bequem die 4 Ausgänge des E-Drums auf die PA mit XLR-Kabeln routen.
Im Druckrack nutze ich parallel ein kleines Mischpult für meinen Monitormix. Da kommen die Linkausgänge der DI-Box ins Spiel. Ich habe einfach die Linkausgänge auf mein Monitorpult geroutet und fertig.
So bin ich glücklich und an der PA kommen perfekte Signale an!
Würde ich wieder kaufen

Preiswert und gut

Ich nutze die DI4000 V2, um von den Klinkenausgängen eines Sound-Moduls auf XLR zu kommen. Habe die Box auf der Rückseite meines Racks eingebaut und hab so perfekten Zugang zu den Buchsen, um zur Stagebox zu verkabeln. Die DI-Box ist schön leicht und nicht so tief wie der Vorgänger. Ich konnte bislang kein Rauschen oder ähnliche Störungen entdecken...funzt einwandfrei.
