As a religious user of gauge .009 strings I was highly wary of using these for my alternate tunings at first but for going down to Open C/C standard this is a really nice size of string for the job, where a .010 would be too thin to withstand any strenuous playing and an .011 might be a bit too thick to down comfortable lead lines, the .0105 sits nicely in the middle. It's clear when playing chords as no notes get lost amongst others, especially since I am using this on a 7 string and lead lines are smooth and not too bright that they become piercing.

Pretty much, it's all in a title. If you want a custom Daddario set for specific tunings or if you have tension preferences that are not met by standard sets, this is a way to go, especially using the most helpful tension chart on Daddario website.

Die hervorragende Qualität von D'Addario Plain-Steel-Saiten wird ja (fast) jedem Gitarristen bekannt sein. Hier gibt es aber die Möglichkeit sich sehr individuell einen Satz zusammen zu stellen oder auch nur nach einer gerissenen E-Saite eine kleine Anpassung des Spielgefühls vorzunehmen. Wer mehrere Gitarren mit unterschiedlicher Saitenstärke spielt, kennt das: Mal ist einem die 9er zu "schlabbrig" oder die 11er zu "hart".
Man will aber keine 10er nehmen, weil die in das gesamte "Gefüge" des Satzes nicht recht hineinpasst. Also kann man hiermit den Satz nuancieren.

Es sind wirklich nur feine Unterschiede, aber man merkt es trotzdem beim Spielen. Wie bei vielen guten Saiten: Ausprobieren und selbst entscheiden.

Excellente alternative pour augmenter tres legerement le tirant sur le Mi aigu.
A adjoindre avec une 0.135 pour le Si.
La difference de tension est minime mais bel et bien présente.
A conseiller à tous ceux qui veulent un peu plus de tirant sur un diapason Gibson, qui trouvent que 0.10 et 0.13 c'est un peu mou.
Pas essayé sur diapason Fender mais cela doit egalement convenir pour les accordages en Mib.

Personnellement je "gonfle" l'ensemble du tirant sur Les Paul avec un jeu entier EXL110+ que j'apprecie beaucoup.
J'ai également une reserve de 0.105 et 0.135 en cas de casse, ou pour ameliorer les aigus sur les grattes des copains.
La qualité de corde est là, pas exceptionnelle, mais standard, fidele à ce que l'on peut attendre d'une corde.
