Great resonant head

This resonant head combined with the emad2 clear batter head results in a very deep kick drum sound with great attack. Definately recommend this combination if playing metal/rock. If you still want more dampening, I recommend trowing a Sonitus acoustics "Kicker" pillow in.

Indeed a great looking and great resonator. The hole for microphone is very useful, i personally hate making the holes myself, so it takes the burden off from me ;) My main reason for buying this was the look and the sound it makes. I recommend this to other drummers.

there is much to be said about having different types of skin available and i keep a wide range to use with clients kits and this is good for death metal where a short sharp attack is required - great head

I Like this head. Shame the port hole is not an inch or two bigger. I have it paired with a GMAD and I like the punch and sustain I get with no damping inside drum. I have a really cheap set and these heads "clean" up the sound of the drum when tuned right. I would buy again if no other head with a bigger porthole was available.
