What hap­pens if I am not sat­is­fied? Do I have to bear the re­turn ship­ping costs?

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return your item! We are an online store and understand that you will buy something which you can’t try. But hey, not to worry, we have this covered!

We at Thomann want you to be completely happy with your purchase: no regrets. We therefore offer you a 30 Day Money-Back-Guarantee on our products. Unfortunately, some of our items are exempt from this guarantee. Things like bespoke items (e.g. a custom case made just for you is of no use to somebody else); items sold by the meter, or products that cannot be taken back for hygiene reasons (e.g. used reeds for wood wind instruments), or also items with license regulations (e.g. registered software).

The equipment must be returned in its original packaging and without traces of use. Once we have received your return it will be checked for obvious signs of damage. Next, we will credit the full sales price to your customer account, or to the method of payment used originally on the order.

Within our 30 days Money-Back warranty, the return shipping costs are paid by the customer. We would however ask you to contact us prior to the return, so that we can provide you with all the necessary documents and instructions for customs clearance.

If an item should be defective during the first 30 days, we kindly ask you to get in touch with us directly upon noticing the defect, as during this timeframe we usually have the possibility to replace the defective item.
