Great guitar at a good price

I bought this guitar mainly because of the medium jumbo frets and the maple fret board.
The neck feels great, really smooth, and the body finish is really eye-catching with the fantastic tidepool-metallic layer.
The sound is typical strat on the single coils and the humbucker delivers the punch needed when hi-gain driven. Although there's always room for a pickup upgrade thou...
The floyd rose tremolo is very smooth and guitar stays in tune after heavy handling.
They could have rounded a bit further the frets edges, but this is a minor thing to me as does not impact playing; you only notice it if you really look for it on purpose.

Avant de parler de la guitare, parlons du colis…
La guitare est dans son carton d’origine, qui est lui-même dans un carton de faible épaisseur Thoman bien trop grand, et la guitare se balade dedans…résultat, le carton extérieur est arrivé défoncé, éventré. Celui de la guitare semblait correct. Au déballage, j’ai constaté que la guitare a été bien secouée. Les protections en carton sont écrasées, mais pas d’impact visible. Sauf que… le manche de la guitare était complètement de travers. J’ai peine à croire que la guitare soit partie comme çà, je pense donc que c’est arrivé pendant le transport. J’ai hésité à la faire repartir dans l’autre sens, mais j’ai finalement opté pour une intervention. Le manche est à nouveau droit, et à priori, pas de dégâts.
Thoman est un spécialiste, je trouve honteux que le colis soit si peu sécurisé. Pas la moindre alerte sur la fragilité du contenu, et un suremballage tout juste suffisant pour du pq…
La guitare elle-même est chouette, pas grand-chose à redire pour le moment. A part le sillet, qui n’est pas plaqué sur le manche, et la « barrette » qui plaque les cordes sur le sillet est fixée de travers.
La guitare est arrivée à peu près réglée, elle semble avoir été essayée.
