A rolling blessing for transporting your drums

The Drum Hardware Bag 1436PE comes from Gator's Protechtor hardware series. This bag is a comfortable solution for transporting drum hardware thanks to its integrated wheels. It offers a lot of space for all kinds of equipment, from cymbal and snare stands to small parts like tuning keys. The extremely hard-wearing, 600-denier nylon outer material, which is characterised by its tear and water resistance, reliably protects the equipment inside from external influences.

Withstands even heavy loads

The Drum Hardware Bag 1436PE measures 102 x 35 x 35 cm and weighs 6.34 kg. A big plus is the large main compartment lined with faux fur and the accessory pocket on the outside. The reinforced plastic base not only has two efficient wheels, which can also withstand higher weights, but also stabilises the entire Drum Hardware Bag 1436PE and thus significantly contributes to the bag’s stability. Four reinforced carrying handles and two shoulder straps are also provided available for greater ease of carrying.

Drummer on tour

The Drum Hardware Bag 1436PE combines a large storage capacity with the best possible flexibility and therefore offers a number of advantages over hard or flight cases: The flexibility of the nylon fabric, for example, is a great advantage in vehicles with limited space. In addition, the bag makes a convincing case thanks to the extremely clean manufacturing quality of all of its components, making it durable even with intensive use. It’s safe to say that this bag is perfect for surviving tough everyday touring life and for transporting your drum hardware safely and comfortably.

About Gator

Gator, or Gator Cases, is an American firm founded in 2000 by father-daughter team Jerry Freed and Crystal Morris in Tampa, Florida. Initially, Gator began with a modest range of moulded plastic guitar cases. From there, they expanded the product line to include case and bag solutions for the whole field of instruments and equipment. A wide variety is covered: Instruments, microphones, and all aspects of live performance, including lighting equipment. At the same time, products for other media areas such as photo and video are also available. All products are made of high-quality plastics, wood, textiles, and EVA materials. The Gator companies also include flight case manufacturer Viking Cases and guitar strap manufacturer Levy's Leathers Ltd., as well as Gator Rackworks and Gator Frameworks.

No more space problems

The large main compartment of the Drum Hardware Bag 1436PE offers immense storage space, which is sufficient for several tripods of all kinds. Even drum stools can be stowed away without any problems. The main compartment is equipped with fastening straps to prevent the hardware inside from slipping. They are lined so that chrome parts are protected from scratches and other damage. The external accessory pocket is appropriately sized to safely store smaller gear and to make sure that it will never be forgotten. In this way, sticks, brushes, mallets, and tuning keys will also find their place in the bag.

Great for transporting a lot of drum gear
Janis P 26.06.2017
We use the product when transporting the drums we use on live shows. In this case we store all the metal hardware of the drum set and occasionally also mic stands, because the case is quite large. It accommodates all the drum gear and also a lot of space is left by.

The bag works great if you have a lot of heavy metal stands to carry around and if you want a convenient way of travelling with it.

I really loved the inside lining of the product, since it takes good care of chromed parts of our drum set, keeping it always shiny.

All in all I would say it is a great product, but it also still has to undergo the test of time, because we have been only using it for a couple of months. So far so good, seems like it will not break any time soon.

Good bag but a bit expensive?
SimoneT 14.07.2015
I'm not sure how pricey it is to fabricate a bag for instruments, but I find that they are all a bit on the pricey side. This being said, I'm perfectly happy with this. I had it for 5 months and it's being used weekly, at least 2 concerts a week. I put lots of stuff inside it as I'm using 6 cymbals and more at times. The case can contain a lot and is very light on its own. It's getting a bit ruined now but only aesthetically, the structural integrity is still very good. It looks like it's going to last long. Also lots of handles in all the convenient places make it easy to transport. The front handle should be redesigned cause it touches the ground every time you put the bag down, and you have to lift the case a little bit to get that handle out. They should just put it a little bit more far away from the bottom of the case.

Lifesaver!
Anonymous 29.07.2016
This is a great hardware case! I doubt you will find anything better for the money.
I regularly gig and this case has made life a lot easier. It's very well made and durable. I can get everything in here including 4 boom stands, a hi-hat stand (broken into 2 parts), snare stand, stool (with the top on!) and a double tom stand! The handles - on both ends - make it easy for 2 people to carry/lift and the wheels and luggage style handle make rolling it to and from venues a breeze. The solid base is strong but flexible enough that it won't snap when thrown about and it's easy enough to drag up a flight of stairs fully loaded as the base slides quite easily too.
Great case, and well worth the money!

TB
The best fabric hardware bag
The Burton 14.04.2015
I bought this to replace a cheaper fabric hardware bag. Overall I am very impressed by the quality of this bag, especially for the price. It is exactly what you would expect from Gator. The base is very solid and does not flex at all, even when fully loaded with all of my hardware. The wheels are silent when rolling, and are similar to suitcase wheels. There are plenty of handles, more than I will ever use! It also comes with padded internal straps to keep everything in place.
