Awesome guitar for the price
AlexSMota 27.08.2019
The guitar is at a great price point and does not disappoint. Looks great, quality seems to be on point considering the price, and sounds pretty good. For its size, it actually sounds pretty loud. Neck has a slim profile, so its awesome for people with smaller hands like me. Setup was awesome out of the box, with low action and no fret buzz, didn't need to adjust the truss rod. Gigbag comes included with the guitar, and is better that I expected. It offers storage space for any acessories you may carry and has plenty cushioning for protection.

Good guitar for the price. Came with a high action at nut and saddle but a little work and a change of strings (Elixir nanoweb) and the guitar had a sudden change in better! The sound is good enough depends on what you expect for this price. Well done and good woods. A very good choice for the use I'll make of it. Thomann's service is as usual perfect. Thanks

Ok for the money
GF. Big 06.09.2022
I decided to try this guitar. I have some very nice guitars, so it would be unfair to compare this model to them.
Out of the box, the guitar was acceptable, but would've still needed a proper setup.
The sound wasn't bad, though there seemed to be a slight unpleasant metallic undertone with it.
It can get pretty loud.
For a beginner, properly set up, this would be fine, or as a campfire guitar.
It's an 'ok' guitar. For the money. I have returned it, and am saving my pennies for a better instrument.
YMMV

Well made, sounds great

I bought this guitar in mid 2023, now after 6 months, I would recommend the guitar to anyone as a reasonably priced, good quality acoustic that looks lovely and sounds great. It plays nicely, with enough volume for my purposes when finger picking and when giving stronger strums it has a good lively response. It sounds great when plugged in. The pickup sounds very bright and natural.

If I had any criticism it is that the two control knobs (wheels, really) to adjust tone and volume aren't labelled and, at first, it is guesswork to which is which and which way they turn to raise level/adjust tone. But you get used to it. The knobs sit hidden inside the sound hole so they preserve the traditional acoustic look of the guitar which is nice.

Overall I am very happy with the purchase - in part because I have always loved the Guild brand from afar. The guitar lives up to the reputation
