Good value for money
Techno Witch 31.10.2019
Pros
- looks awesome
- plays good

Cons
- no coil split on humbuckers
- pickups OK, but not great. (they are normal sized)

I was looking for a good but cheap guitar to upgrade. This JS22 does the job. It plays great right out of the box. The neck feels a bit rough at first, but gets smooth really quick (after a few hours of intense playing). The back of the neck looks like maple with some sort of grain filler. The finish of the frets/fret board is good enough, but there is room for improvement. Tuners and tuning stability is as I expected from a guitar in this price range, good enough but not fantastic. Lightly sanding the string slots on the nut and a bit of lubrication did improve tuning stability. A bit of tender love and care makes this an excellent guitar in this price range. The only downside is the pickups. They sound OK and can handle most styles of playing. But if you know how great pickups sound, you will hear that these are not great. I have ordered an Invader Bridge and a DP151 Paf Pro for the neck to replace them.

A hidden gem for something moderately cheap
LoST_GR 19.11.2021
I bought this as a gift to a friend of mine. For its price it handles incredibly well. The finish is super clean and its very light as well. Both pickups sound amazing, and the bridge seems decent. Considering it's a Jackson you mostly go for a metal sound, and it doesn't disappoint!! Chugging at its finest and with the right equipment you surely can make it sound even better. Power chords also sound very nice. The tremolo is also pretty decent if you are looking for something that looks and sounds good without having a Floyd Rose trem system. Surely it's not as good as a Floyd but it saves you the time, effort and money you put when changing strings or drop tuning.
Overall, it's the perfect guitar for someone who is looking for something that sounds incredibly good, weighs very little, doesn't have a Floyd, and is moderately cheap.

Best for Price and Begginers/Pros
Toader 04.12.2021
Pros: Good Tuning Stability (if Hardtailed)
Good Pickups
Feels Very Good in Hands
No sharp edges, it is very confortable

Cons: Using the whammy bar will get you very quick out of tune
The tuners are loose, and jumpy

What should be replaced?
-The Bridge (if you want floyd rose, you might need to change the neck as well)
-The Tuners

Good but not for me
adriandarius 25.07.2023
I really wanted a jackson, I was in love with it. Everything i say here it's my opinion.
I didn't know at first the dinky it's smaller but i must say its quite uncomfortable for someone with bigger hands especially the higher frets and the cutaway. the guitar in my case had fretbuzz which i didnt rlly like and some little finish issues nothing much just aesthetics, in fact the guitar looks good.
How it plays?
Pretty good. The pickups are nice very nice they perform good in my opinion as a not very advanced player. If you want to play with really high gain bring a noise gate with ya.
The playability
Well the fretboard was dry and the neck aswell high friction wouldn't let me go fast up and down, maybe it was a finish issue. For it's price the guitar is great. Just not for me
