I love it!

I heard that Marcus Miller basses have exceptionally good value for money, but I have to admit that I was still quite impressed by the build quality. The roasted maple neck looks beautiful and feels very nice. The sound is punchy, and clear, with deep bass and enough details. The preamp with the option of choosing the midrange frequency does a great job of shaping the sound (better than my Fender PlayerPlus, in my ears). I changed the strings to La Bella 760N-B as I am into Tapewounds these days and love the combination.

I found a minor (and rarely occurring) grounding issue that I figured was caused due to the pots not having a wide enough nut underneath to properly grab the metal sheet under the pickguard. I decided to fix it myself as I value Thoman and their service too much to cause a return and/or repair process on them for such a thing (and it was easy). On the other hand, opening the pickguard showed me what a clean and tidy job they did under the hood.

Right now, it's my favorite bass among the seven basses I own.
