Great sound but poor finish
Emansell 21.09.2022
I've bought this guitar for the reputation of Takamine.
The sound is great as expected: well balanced and rich of harmonics. With respect to another acoustic guitar I own, this Takamine GD93CE is way better in terms of overall sound quality and playability.
But what is very surprising and astonishing to me is the very poor finish of the neck where I've found several hard fouling which resisted to a good cleaning with a guitar polish product.
Despite my experience in guitar crafting and spraying, I do not want to use sandpaper nor abrasive products.
At the end, even if the cosmetic issues do not compromise the great sound quality, I'm very disappointed by the lack of the quality standard of Takamine. Being made in China it is not surprising anyway...

For the price you would be hard pressed to find a better sounding guitar. The resonance is lovely and it’s so easy to play. Up there with the best of them. Would definitely recommend

Tolles Preis- Leistungsverhältnis
takaminefan 06.07.2020

Excelentes acabados, genial sonido.
