Amazing Instrument!

-Speaking as a non-professional who just wants to try out all kinds of instruments.

I wanted to try a Duduk for a very long time, And this one did not disappoint! I love everything about it.

It feels very well designed and comfortable to play. Wind instruments aren't my strong area, adding this being my first double-reeded instrument, I was surprised I didn't have too much trouble getting a quite decent tone out of it. As far as my skills allow it to shine, it sounds amazing.

There is a very short manual included, with very basic playing and maintenance instructions, a fingering chart and some recommended lesson books.

This Duduk is easily among the favourites of my collection.

Ik ben een absolute beginner, dus eigenlijk kan ik de duduk misschien niet goed beoordelen, maar ik ben er helemaal weg van.
Het is een goede duduk, hij heeft een makers-markering, en het 5e en 8e gaatje zijn meer uitgesneden: daaraan schijn je te kunnen zien dat het geen souvenir is, maar een echt instrument.

Een echt instrument is het zeker! Ik dacht dat het moeilijk te bespelen zou zijn, maar dat valt reuze mee. Hij is goed gestemd, het riet speelt lekker, gemakkelijk, soepel. Ik weet niet of het instrument echt in A is. Maar de tonen onderling kloppen met elkaar. Natuurlijk is het wennen aan het instrument, het is een dubbelriet, embouchure is super belangrijk evenals speeltechniek, ademsteun etc. maar na 3 dagen begin ik het instrument al te kennen, en wordt het al makkelijker.

De instructie die erbij zit is wel heel minimaal. Beter is het om op internet info op te zoeken over hoe om te gaan met het riet, etc. en natuurlijk hoe je het instrument bespeelt.

Ik ben superblij met dit instrument. Ik heb met suf gezocht om aan een goede duduk te komen, ze zijn nauwelijks te krijgen in Nederland, en via ebay durfde ik het niet aan: te veel rommel. Fantastisch dat Thomann meerdere duduks in het assortiment heeft. En nadat de betaling binnen was, werd het binnen 2 dagen bezorgd, goed verpakt.

Nogmaals, ik ben een beginner, maar ik ben super tevreden!

Un trabajo artesano bien hecho. Se nota la calidad solamente al tenerlo por primera vez en las manos. Hecho de menos un libro con canciones que poder interpretar originarias para este hermoso instrumento.
