Fun software for writing songs, and lots of excellent plugins included

I was using only Logic Pro before but after buying Ableton I tend to use it for writing/recording and then I bounce those tracks and mix in Logic. Overall the CPU utilization on Mac is better in Logic than it is in Ableton, but Ableton session view is really great for sketching out songs quickly.

Fantastic DAW packed with quality stock plug ins that can be molded in to anything. Live 12 Suite is a rock solid platform that I would recommend to anyone beginner or experienced.
