Routing paradise
While it's not the most common application for a matrix mixer, I actually bought it for use as my end-of-chain system mixer - and it works flawlessly. I have six stereo inputs and outputs at my disposal and so far, they are arranged as follows:
Three inputs are used for feeding in the signals from three sub-mixers in my system, the rest are used as returns from send effect modules (multi-FX unit, compressor and a reverb).
One output is used as a master output. Three outputs are used as sends for the effect modules mentioned above. Two outputs are vacant and often get used for sending a return signal from one of the effect modules back into the rack for further processing or even into one of the sub-mixers to create a feedback loop.
This arrangement also allows for really fun and creative serial processing, just a few knob twists are needed to swap the order of effects around and all sorts of creative possibilities are within reach! A nice touch: each input and output can be configured via jumpers on the back for working with line level or the significantly hotter Eurorack level signals. There is also quite a bit of headroom, so it takes a deliberate effort to make this mixer distort.
As always with ADDAC, build and sound quality are both top notch and Thomann team brought their a-game yet again. Highly recommended!

Top!
