Aguilar AG Preamp

This is a great Preamp and DI! However, like with anything you need to try it for yourself.

This preamp is very clean and has been great so far at the end of my signal chain on my pedalboard. This is what I wanted as I can rely on other pedals/processing to colour my signal if needs be. It sounds great on it’s own and is a handy tool to practice with a pair of headphones and to connect a device as required.

I have not had the chance to use it in a recording situation yet. Depending on the situation there may be other Preamps you may also want to take into the studio. It doesn’t give the analog warmth of other preamp pedals but it does have great tonal capabilities.

Definitely one to add to your arsenal!
