AKAI Professional APC mini MK2

Faders and buttons feel solid and smooth.
I wish the small buttons were a little bigger or easier to press but not a deal breaker.
There should be a bootloader like on launchpads so I could dim the brightness of the LEDs without involving programming.
I've had it for half a year and some buttons' blue LEDs stopped working turning the white color into a yellow. Nothing warranty can't fix.
I use mine for controlling lights on MA2 onPC at home.

I previously owned mk1, used it for various stuff; light control, studio, DJing. As soon as I saw there was mk2 on the market, I bought it.
Buttons feel lighter, faders are the same as the previous one, overall build quality is good

Unfortunately, this device only works on Ableton version 11 and I use version 10. I should definitely have checked better...
Very disappointed, as the device itself seems to be very well designed in all aspects, for a very decent price.

Great equipment. I bought for electronic music and I also play guitar. It's fully compatible with Ableton. I am happy with it.

Geweldig product! Het enige nadeel vind ik persoonlijk de helderheid van de buttons. In mijn geval gebruik ik het als midi controller voor lightoperating, dus daar is het wel handig bij ;)

I am just a beginner VJ and wanted something that could be of good material and compatible with Resolume Arena. I do very simple stuff there, but even for Medium to Advance users Akai MK2 seems a really good option for Resolume. I think this is the best Beginner/Medium-level for Resolume Arena. I think this will last me for years and decades.

I don't think there is anything better for Price/Value out there, at least in quality to functionality. I am so far very happy with my purchase!

Got it to use it for both sound control and lights control with QLC+ and it works fantastically. We're so impressed of how easy it is to programme it and use it.

i did a lot of research before hand so i knew what i was getting and what are the limitations before hand, for my needs it's a great controller and the faders are super nice!

Good build quality and sturdy design, lots of features that are very useful!!
