AKAI Professional MPK Mini IV Gray

My first ever midi keyboard/controller and I am overall happy with it. The touch sensitivity/finger drumming with the pads does not feel the best or most responsive but all the parts feel fairly robust atleast.

The plugin instruments you get with it sound good and are a nice bonus.

I bought this as a midi controller for Logic Pro and it works perfectly out of the box for this application. I was very impressed with the overall look and feel of the AKAI MPK Mini IV, but decided I needed something bigger.

This is my favorite design in the MPK Mini series. I also own the previous three models, and while they felt a bit more like toys, this model feels truly premium.

The built-in Scale and Chord features are genuinely helpful for music production. The overall build quality is also good. The pads are slightly smaller than those on previous models, but this doesn't cause any issues in practice.

I hope you continue to maintain this level of design and build quality in future models.

PROS:
- I like its small size
- it looks great

CONS:
- all the buttons and knobs are cheap plastic and make a loud plastic click sound.

The quality of the manufacturing and the plastic material is evident, with minor defects and a corrugated coating.

GREAT ITEM FROM AN AMAZING PLACE!

It’s decent for what it is, but QC is not impressive. Mine arrived with noticeable uneven key heights.

Not working properly ,
poor drum pads ,
everything is so worst
