Allparts reliability...
What I found with any Allparts pots I've bought is that they go wrong like no others.
Within the first 6 months, if the knob is at 10 and you accidentally turn it slightly more, it momentarily kills the sound, so if you're playing with the volume at 6 and you want to to to 10 for a solo, you first get muted for 1/4 of a second, which is something that of course gets worse during the first year and you have to be unreasonably careful.
During the second year, there come the crackles from dust, no matter the guitar or application you're using it, which is something that happens too soon compared with other pot brands.
These may say CTS but the quality control is AllParts...
I prefer Japanese Goldos, they are practically immortal.

DO NOT BUY THIS POT
I am URGING you not to buy this pot. After soldering together, Lug 1 snapped clean off after minimal soldering time on the lug. This has NEVER happened to me before. Truly unacceptable, I am NEVER buying from these guys again.

fine quality-good value
Works as it should be. I use it as tone pot. It seems to be more like a modern log taper (10% log), so it has a bit steep change of resistance. Total resistance value is close enough to stated value (about 1019 ohms). I would prefer it to have lower friction in order to turn easier. I play strats so i want pots to be loose enough so i can change value with my pinky. This pot is in the middle ground.
A fine product.

CTS pots are worth the hype.
Used to upgrade my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster, they're well worth it. The stock ones were a bit scratchy, and didn't have a nice taper, but these are just right, making the guitar feel a bit more like a proper Fender. No semblance of complaints here, for sure!

Works fine
Nice taper. Requires the right amount of friction to turn it, not too loose, not too tight. Installed in in a Jazzmaster.
