i hadn't tried a single ply on the snare for a few years so tried this out. it was a bit tricky to tune. its very resonant but also fairly low volume.

im not a heavy hitter but i seem to get more out of 2-ply heads. it does sound good though, im playing mostly pop funk and rock.
