Hollow sound, no core, it's a bit harder then reeds with same number, but most important thing is that it's made out of plastic which is already too much in our life and as microscopic particles it ends up in our bodies. Advertised as a good thing which lasts many times longer than cane reeds, but noone talks about health. I definitely stay with cane.
