New Design... Still Faulty.
This is an updated review after using the updated headband for a while. FYI the newer design has more of the leather material contacting the plastic which should reinforce it.
However after a few months of fairly intensive use it has started peeling away, again. Bad design/construction by Beyer here. Wonder if there's going to be a third revision!?

beyerdynamic DT Pro X Headband
Looks like they made slight improvements to the headband for durability, was easy to remove the old one and attach the new one.

Better, but still not very good
The first(?) version did not look like the image now, because the faux leather wasn't "pierced" by the hooks and it was super easy to slip off due to lack of adhesion of the glue.
The newest revision looks like the image but even after a year the adhesion also started causing issues and I fixed them with super glue. It works and probably doubles the lifetime of this headband before the faux leather starts to flake off.

3rd band and still no duration
Had to change this headband for 3 times now, idk what they did to make the leather go off so easily but it’s annoying, overall really sad bc the headphones sound amazing but having to change this band 3x in not even 1 year is sad!

Ok
Easy to replace, though they are pretty flimsy, especially compared to how sturdy everything else on my DT900 pro X is.
Decently comfortable.
Kinda pricey.
