Great sound and isolation, but cheap (p)leather.
Put these on my dt-770 pro 80-ohm. fits good! (Use heatgun to mount easier)
+ Clear improvement of bass-response and overall sound. Lower bass more prominent. As a basshead, strongly recommend, might even dare to say i think these should come from the factory like this.
+No noticeable change in treble or mids
+Have yet to find a increase or decrease of soundstage for gaming etc
+A bit better noise isolation
+Doesn't squeak with my glasses on like the velour did
-Leather feels cheap and not as soft as i thought, feels a bit plastic.
- Ears get a bit hotter but not sauna-hot, atleast not now in October

Original for D770 Pro 32ohm
I wanted to replace my worn out Ear Cups for DT 770 PRO 32ohm, and I plan to change the material by purchasing the Velour option.
It's good that I searched the forums first and saw that the material is a very important factor in the sound.
After I consulted with Beyerdynamic through their website, I decided on these Ear Cups since only they will not change the sound I am used to, because they were original for these 32ohm headphones.
There are other factors besides the material that affect the sound, such as the number and size of the holes on the back of Ear Cups.
I learned a lot during this purchase.
The only thing that is a little unpleasant is the rather difficult installation of the new Ear Cups. Sony for example has a much simpler replacement patent.
Nevertheless, I am very satisfied.

The velours pads gave me a rash, these leather ones don't.

Good for sweaty players.
As others already mentioned, i would recommend anyone that has longer playing sessions to replace the original pads with these ones. They don't absorb odor like the velvet ones. They feel more comfortable and are definitely easier to clean.
