My ultimate Bass trombone mouthpiece

I had already owned a Mercury blank Mr. Bass mouthpiece which I use in commercial and jazz settings. But the standard blank is perfect for orchestra and large ensembles

Top-Mundstück mit knackigem Sound

Hatte mir überlegt, nach etlichen Jahren der Nutzung eines Denis Wick Heritage 2AL Mundstück auf ein neues Mundstück für meine Bassposaune zu wechseln. Zur Auswahl habe ich drei Mundstücke bestellt.
Das Bob Reeves spricht super an, sowohl in unteren als auch oberen Lagen. Vom Durchmesser gehört das Mundstück eher zu den kleineren. Das merkt man in der Weise, das Töne sehr knackig rüber kommen, vor allem in der Tiefe und dann aber auch schneller platzen.
Für bestimmte Stilrichtungen mag das gut sein. Ich spiele überwiegend in Posaunenchören und da fügt sich das Mundstück durch den knackigen Sound nicht optimal ein. Könnte z.B. für die BigBand anders sein.
Ich habe mich letztendlich für das Schilke Bill Reichenbach entschieden (Bewertung siehe dort). Das Bob Reeves ist aber trotzdem ein tolles Mundstück.
