Decent quality but be aware that it's not a splitter for a 9v supply.
TrEr 02.07.2021
I though I had purchased a splitter that could be used with a 9v Boss type power supply. Turns out it can't be used like that, the plugs won't fit. It can only be used as a splitter from the 9v dc power output on a Boss tuner. My mistake, I should have checked the specs better but it's something to be aware of (and to be honest I think the product description should have mentioned this).

The quality is decent for the price. Nothing outstanding but slightly more robust than the cheapest 9v power cables out there.

Recommended, but make sure you know what you're buying.

perfect

perfect for what i need. as is very often the case with guitarist such as myself, i find myself chopping and changing me effects VERY often. sometimes i will be very happy with a particular et of sounds or equipment, but next night, i will decide i need to change things. it can be avery complicated business indeed to use some of the modern type of multi effects units indeed. i have used most of the big brands over the years, with varying levels of success i must add. i then decided that i would go OLD SCHOOL ,and return to single pedals in front of me for all of my live work at least, if not recording also. i then found to my cost, that batteries do NOT last very long at all,and are also VERY expensive to use in the long term. so i bought a power supply, and set of these most EXCELLENT daisy chain leads, and i am still using them today, many years later;-) success!

Top product...

Genius method to feed more effects pedals from one source, without sacrificing anything...I highly recommend it, i feed up 3 TC Electronic pedals and one Hotone Skyline Tuner, but it can feed up 7 pedals...I use the NS2 as a power supply, connected to a Palmer 8 channel power supply and this cable is powering on the front pedals, because you don't need a fully occupied power supply....If you have more pedals, this cable fits like a glove, amazing crafting quality!

Boss PCS-20A pedal power cable
HenryJay 03.10.2014
I would primarily recommend the Boss BCB-60 pedal board which ships with the power supply unit and all necessary cables, but if you are using something else this is absolutely your choice for connecting your Boss effect pedals to a shared AC/DC power adapter.

Never had any problems with the Boss PCS-20A, but in my opinion the cable could be a bit thicker and the plugs sturdier. However, careful handling is the key here. You don't want to have sudden power breaks, cracks or any extra hiss/hum!

You'll need a power supply unit with a DC output, or if you are using a Thomann power adapter NT AC/PSA or similar, then one effect pedal with a DC output - a Boss Line selector LS-2 or a Boss Noise suppressor NS-2 or a Polytune chromatic tuner, for example. That's where you connect this connector cable and share the power then with the rest of your pedals (1+7). Voíla!

Boss PCS-20A

This is a brilliant little cable, I bought it along with a boss TU-3 tuner and it powers most of my other pedals, (couple of overdrives, delay, tremolo, reverb, loop) saving money and space on my pedal board with individual power supplies.
I only have to use a separate power supply on my old electro harmonix memory man.
BOSS should really include this as a standard item along with their TU-3 but that little moan aside it really is highly recommended.
You can power up to 7 addition pedals, considering the cost of individual power supplies or a large pedal power system this is a really cheap and simple solution.
I have been using this for the last two years without any problems in a home studio environment, I'm not sure I would trust it for a gigging pedal board used in harsher environments but then again they are cheap enough to carry a spare.

Easy to link your pedals!!
Ian141 15.09.2013
Great little thing to have, if you have a lot of pedals. I link this from my Boss Tuner and can power up to 7 pedals from it. It has saved me a fortune on batterys and is very tidy. A tip for anyone buying this, is to leave the plastic ends on the links not used, others wise it can short out on certain stages. Great product, great price.

Alternative to many batteries

Use this to power a number of pedals from a Boss LS-2. No need to worry about batteries for all pedals any longer!

Daisy chain

Well that's what it is.
If you've got the select boss pedals with the power out you can use this to power 7 other pedals.
one big problem i have with this is that your pedals have to be really really close and going up a row can be hard as there isn't that much cable in between the power jacks.
