Yes it's perfect for me - thanks
I had been playing on the Pickett Vizzutti mouthpiece for quite some time and found it versatile enough to enable me to cover all the bases as a crossover musician. Moving from big band through to classical via pop. However I have recently experienced some problems with my lip swelling after playing for sometime and it was affecting my endurance and confidence. I had a Kelly 7c plastic mouthpiece in my drawer and decided to switch on to it, which saved my trumpet life - no more problems with my embouchure. However the sound is a little too dark for big band and pop playing - fine for classical. I bought the Brand Perfect and Groove to on spec without any knowledge of them. The Perfect works brilliantly for me, in the sense that I know have regained the projection that I have with the Pickett and it's so comfortable and easy for me to play. The Groove is very similar to the Kelly, so I don't need it - it's still really good though - with a darker sound to my ears. The recording of the 3 mouthpieces on my iPad confirmed what I could hear from behind my bell. I'm about to order the lead and booster as well.
