MXR Mini Fuzz
This is exactly what I was looking for. A sharp bright fuzzy tone. I use single coil guitars and fender amps, other fuzz pedals didn't fit the sound very well. But this is perfect. And as a mini pedal it fit straight on to my pedalboard.

Fuzz Face as a fuzz face needs to be with some extra
I wanted this for the 'Hendrix' sound and clean-up possibility and it delivers all I hoped for.
Going from 'Wind Cries Mary' to 'Manic depression' just with the turn of your guitar's volume is a wonderful experience ;-)
The sound is what you want from a fuzz face style pedal and it fully delivers 'that' sound.
The added possibility to engage the buffer is a nice surplus and expands the usability and makes it a full star review for me.

Thank you MXR.
I use a wah, I use buffered pedals, true bypass pedals: this fuzz is the only I could find that takes everything like a champ, keeping the good old FF sound no matter what. And, to my surprise, still cleans up really well with a single coils strat, nice sparkle on top rolling the volume back, fat tones when full on. Love it!

Disappointed
I was curious about this mini fuzz face variant as I'm looking to add a little vintage vibes to my sound palette.
Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the actual product. Only about the last 1/10th of the fuzz knob is actually usable β the rest of the knob's range just barely adds 'peach fuzz' to your tone.
It's essentially a one-sound fuzz. The one sound it has is ... rather okay, if a little tame. It might work for you, but I was quick to return this one, unfortunately.
