Recycle your soldering iron!
EMG's solderless installation is always super easy and nice to work with.
If you're looking for a switch to go along with the solderless installation, this is the way to go.
It's super easy to install, and it's a very quality product.
It comes with everything you need to install it and make it work with EMG's solderless system.
It's action is nice and firm, and it clicks firmly in its positions.
I installed this with a double humbucker combo(80+60A) in a Solar S2.6B, and it works perfectly.
I had a little trouble getting the circuitry to work properly, because I want dual volumes and no tone, but I'm sure more patient people can figure it out. (You dont need a tone pot for metal imho)
I say this because as of now, 13th December '21, there aren't any diagrams available for dual volume, double humbucker setups with these solderless switches.
So I had to use my limited understanding of the EMG circuitry and ghetto rig something with both the little PCB that comes with the pickups.
I'm sure it's possible without the PCB, but Ii got impatient and wanted something that I knew worked, and it did in the end.
In conclusion, I can only recommend the switch if you dont want to deal with soldering.
If you're investing in new EMG's, do yourself a favor and buy this if you want a solid 3-way blade switch.
If you're looking for an upgrade, consider this IF your guitar already uses the solderless system.

Genius
I bought this switch originally to pair a couple of passive EMG-HZ H3 pickups. The mounting was rather easy thanks to the EMG solderless method. The switch act as a bus as well, so no need to use the bus provided with the pickups or wiring kit. However, the wiring instructions were not very clear and I had to look at some YouTube videos to understand fully how to re-wire my guitar. Also, it is mentioned in the doc that this switch is for active pickups only. This is not correct, as it can be used with passive EMG's as well (confirmed by EMG support), just don't use the battery connectors. The switch was also a little too big for the cavity of my LTD MH-1000-NT; three pins would touch the cover plate, resulting in a short cut that created either an awful humming or a loss of pickup power. At first I didn't understand that and I thought the grounding was faulty. I then installed some active 81/60 just to notice there was the same issue. So, beware that those metal pins are not touching the plate (you can bend them or add a piece of foam between them and the plate). Otherwise, this is a solid product.

Quality switch
Used the switch in my LTD MH-103QM.
Installation was easy, quality of the swithc is pretty good as well. It gives a satisfying feel when you switch the positions.
However, be sure to measure the depth of your guitar ? it is not suited for shallow routings, as top contacts would not allow the backplate cover to be bolted down correctly

Excellent for EMG plug’n’play pickups
Ordered one for my Ibanez 7-string rebuild with EMG passive pickups. So this switch was a natural option. It works like a charm - installation was super easy, just plug and play pickup cables.
It also works with active pickups so make sure to follow instructions on both the pickups and the switch.
In operation, it’s what one expects from EMG - silent, solid, reliable.
The switch is rather deep, though, but it fitted nicely inside the RG body.
To sum up - if you’re installing EMG pickups, this is the swtich you want and need.

Just what I needed
Just the item I needed for my EMG Marty Friedman passive pick up set, made the pick up exchange process fast and almost seamless, definitely buying this again next time I do a EMG pick up mod

The way to go for emg solderless kit!
I ordered and installed this with my EMG KH-BB set. Its a great way of going completely solderless with active EMG pickups! Also I have a tip if someone experienced same problem as me, after installing it on a shielded slot my pickups weren't working at all. I found after a lot of trial and error that this switch doesn't need to touch on a shield to work! I removed shield around the switch and voila!

Top product, from a top company
Pros:
Top quality,
Working perfectly
Contains an extra knob for different guitar colors
No soldering needed
Suitable for anycombination of pickups, knobs and extra controls
Only con:
You must be an astronaut to install it with ease... :)
Allthough it contains very detailed installation diagram, the guitar pickup - controls combinations are so many that you'll probably have to figure out some stuff yourselves

Nice and Precise
So. The switch is very good. much better than common switches for soldering. I could even use it with different types of pickups. ( Non EMG )
very smooth and durable construction.

Use with caution!
This switch is not state of the art as far is concerned it's quality, switching through the positions generate noises and pops. If you're not able to solder your circuits you're good to go, but if you've have time and the ability, a good soldering joint is far more reliable.

To BIG
Suitable for thick Strat type guitars but i needed it for Ibanez S so i would avoid if you want it for thin body guitars
