You either love it or hate it.
It's EMG 85 in white, I've put it in my Fender Standard Strat in the bridge and in fact was pretty happy with the sound. In fact, it reanimated guitar and made it for me a Jack of All Trades. It has a lot of punch, clarity, and seats good in the mix, besides it has an astonishing killer look (EMG in white, you see this not so often).
Would recommend it to anyone who loves active pickups and EMG in particular - it's a big no-brainer.
PS. Its a pity that there is only this model in white, it would be great if more EMGs were in white instead of boring black.

It's the perfect balance between harsh bite and soft thickness, might actually be my favorite pickup of all time. It's dead silent under heavy gain, perfect for recording. Installation is super easy and the pickup looks stunning on my black Kramer. Cleans up nicely with the volume put. Fast delivery.

Got this in my 96 Epi LP. AWESOME sound, much more attack than the passive counterpart. Teamed with an EMG 81 WH. Truly full sound, colder tones than a passive pickup, but perfect for thrashing out metal licks and serious rock. Good quality, solid construction. Stunning good looks and an attitude to match.
