Anderes Flavour ... Gelungene Alternative auch für Nicht Slipknot Fans
Die Daemonum haben im Vergleich den passivsten Charakter gegenüber 81 57 oder JH. An Power geht aber nix verloren. Basierend auf dem Retroactiv Design. Ich spiel schon über 20 Jahre EMG aber so singen, dynamisch und klar, konnte bis jetzt noch kein EMG. Der 81er im Vergleich klingt dazu grad wie mit einem Handtuch über den Speakern. Mehr Bass und einfach brillanter, irgendwie mehr klar und crisp. Eigentlich echte Alleskönner und im Crunch oder Clean auch enorm stark. Die Optik ist halt bombe und Verarbeitung EMG typisch top. Endlich mal ein EMG wo man auch gut mit den Potis arbeiten kann. Bis jetzt der stärkste, aber gleichzeitig mit größten passivem Touch. Ich lass ihn definitiv drin und wieder ihn jederzeit den Sets mit 81 57 oder JH vorziehen. Probiert ihn aus, ich bin auch nicht der größte Slipknot Fan.

Tolle Abnehmer.
Wer die Klassiker 81/85 zu steil findet sollte die Teile mal probieren. Zugegeben. Anfangs dachte ich tatsächlich dass es einfach nur Retro Active sind die Emg dort loswerden möchte. Klar, die Charakteristik ist irgendwo die selbe aber viel spitzer mehr Höhen und mitten. Am besten einfach mal ausprobieren. Clean als auch heavy sind hier abgedeckt.

Sounds like someone is putting a blanket over the sound
I was reading and watching reviews of these pickups and everyone praised them. I ordered them because I wanted to try something different from my 81/60 setup. But man was I disappointed. They are over saturated and at the same time they sound like someone put a carpet over the sound.
Very percussive but the highs and mids sounds weird.
I put them in my E-II Horizon which usually sounds nice and open, but with these pickups it sounded boxed up and lost all highs and mids I want.
I'm returning these pickups and I'm putting the 81/60 set back in.
Color me disappointed. :(
They are well built and the price is good for a set of signature pickups, and the packaging is very nice.
I'm generally a fan of actives and EMG particullar, and I have tried many different EMG pickups and like the most of them, but sadly not these.
Very percussive but the highs and mids sounds weird.

Excelentes pastillas. Con toda la pegada del set EMG 81/60 pero con un toque pasivo que les da más brillo y un sonido menos comprimido. Muy fácil instalación, como suele ser habitual en EMG, sin necesidad de soldaduras.

Le meilleur des 2 mondes !
Achetés pour remplacer les micros de ma Les Paul Studio, le kit est (quasi) parfait et se monte très rapidement : seule la longueur des potentiomètres est limite.
En terme de son : ah ouais !!! La puissance des micros actifs avec la chaleur des passifs !
Moi qui n'utilisais jamais le micro chevalet car trop boueux, là je me fais enfin plaisir sur des bons crunchs
Bref ces micros sont très versatiles, du clean à la distorsion très poussée en passant par l'overdrive, ils savent tout faire
