Almost perfect
I’m a big fan of these tune up kits - albeit they’re not exactly great value for money they’re very handy when servicing snare drums on the fly /outside of a workshop.
This particular one is very good at its particularly job - the dry batter head takes a lot of ring and rattle out of any shell and increases the top-side projection a little which can be great for recording sessions - especially at really low or really high tuning ranges. Brilliant!
Only issue is for longer hauls the HD Dry isn’t the most durable head and dies off a bit quicker than something like the UV1 - which is personally my vote for snare batters.

Breathes new life into a tired snare
I gig and record regularly, but even so would only change my snare batter head about once a year, probably less. I have never changed the reso or bothered swapping the snare wires.
I bought this ahead of a run of shows as my snare was sounding flat and tired. Tuned up well, it now sounds like a brand new snare drum. I don't think it's something you need or want to buy every year or so - you could definitely get away with just changing the batter head and leaving the reso and snare wires untouched for a much longer period.
That said, if you are like me and have a decent but neglected snare drum in need of a spa day, this kit is perfect and seems like okay value for money.
