Looks great and does the job.

It's a cable the does what it's supposed to do, but looks great. The tweed finish is very classically Fender. Not sure it would stand up on a stage with possible spillages/liquids nearby but for home/studio use its great.

I own a Fender platinum tweed 5m bass cable, bought 15 years ago. It still works amazing. However, 5m is sometime too long. So I wanted to buy a 3m long cable, only to realize that the Platinum is no longer available. After reading some reviews, I opted for this one. it's thinner than the platinum (and this has the advantage that you can "domesticate" it much easier than the Platinum) and absolutely noiseless (as the platinum), but simply pulling it out of the instrument or of the amp, the plastic screw cap unscrews. I understand that, with screw caps, you can, in case of problems, open and solder the wires, but like this is not acceptable for a cable this price.

good quality cable

The jacks are screw on type, so if/when a connection end shorts from use, it can be removed and resoldered, unlike the bonded on jacks on some cheap cables. the outer cable and the fabric cover makes this a solid cable, should last for years.

Build quality is 5/5

BUT

Lower frequencies are bit cutoff! So the sound seems bit thin to me.. Might be just my ears. But nothing to worry too much about :)
Sounds fantastic and virtually no noise :)
Happy with the purchase so far... will see about the durability in coming years

I believe some products can give inspiration to make music, and believe it or not, this little cable gets into that category! :)

I'm a gear nerd and have used many ridiculously expensive cables in the past, but this time I needed some cables for non-gigging use so I decided to go with these.

The quality is great, the plugs are decent and the cables just feel and look very good.

Strong recommendation for musicians that are looking for some good value for money cables that feel and look a lot more luxurious than the price might suggest!
