Gator GRR-6L

This Gator rack delivers the quality what you would expect from the company. It's built rock-solid, has really nice wheels, which can be really helpful when the unit is full and you need to move it around. The there are only 2 small issues: it lacks a surface treatment on the small stands/legs, so if you have the rack sitting on a table, or such it slips and slides more easily than expected.
If the front and rear are removed, the butterfly handles move quite freely around, so they can be caught up easily in obstacles. I use it standing on it's side and this definitely needs checking to make sure you don't scratch the surface you're putting it on.
Other than that it's solid, quite light and easy to add or remove racks, so I give it a 5-star.

Great rack case. I use it to transport my overly big bass rig which consists of my old Trace Elliot head, AKG Digital DMS70 wireless, Korg rack tuner and my old Boss VF-1 multi effects. Problem with all this is it's a heavy setup. This is where the GRR6-L case comes into play. The fist thing is that because it's abs plastic it's extremely light, so it doesn't add much extra weight to the rig. But the best thing is that it has two wheels and a handle. This is preventing back injuries every time I gig. Also like all Gator ABS rack cases, it has the rackmounts on both sides which means for me I can mount a power strip on the rear rack. I also want to put a breakout panel there when I get a chance. Overall this is the best rack case I have had, lightweight and on wheels. If it ever gets damaged I would by another one. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Bought this rack case for a standard IEM/backing track playback setup for my band.
The rack is quite light; having wheels on it is pure delight.
I would not say it is extremely sturdy, but well sufficient for normal use, and this also correlates to the very reasonable weight, so I can't complain.
Deep enough to hold smaller stuff (in my case, an XR mixer, some IEM transmitters, ...) on both front and back rails, so it gives you much more than 6U.
My only gripe is that it takes a bit more fiddling than I would like to put on the lids. But this is a truly minor nuissance. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this rack.

Very good case for the price, would highly reccomend for anyone wanting to transport/carry gear without the cost or size/weight of bulkier flight cases. We use this to house our In-Ear monitor system and it does the job superbly and even has wheels! Although it is a stable and robust case which is adequate for transporting too and from rehersal and gigs it obviously would not tour just as well as one of their higher range plywood flight case but dont get me wrong all in all a great piece of equipment.

Would be nicer if it came with another pack of screws so you can use the back panel too without needing more.
