Quality strings at an affordable price.
VitalyG 09.01.2018
I came across to these Boomers just as an experiment with different string gauges trying to find the best and comfortable for me to play. Because I mostly play in lower than standard tunings the first criteria was to find not very thick gauge strings but that could make good tension with quite low action on my guitar.
I normally tune to standard A or Open Cmin9 with low G they stay relatively in tune for all the string bends I do when play guitar. It is also handy for those who are hard picking player as I try to be.
I find that these strings to be quite loud, which is good if you need more output of your guitar. Personally for me, as a metal player it works great. Of course this will not replace Tube Screamer in your chain but definitely will give some small extra boost and sustain to tone. Also they sound expressed mid range.
To sum up I can say that this is a great sounding set of strings for less than 8 EUR with gauges that suits great for lower than standard tunings. It is a good sounding strings that won?t sting your wallet. Even if you are fan of different string brand this could serve as great spare string option.
The only disadvantage that I would mention is that they not last long as I would love to. Maybe only in my case it is like that because of my sweaty hands, but taking into the account the price, nevertheless they worth its money.

Works well for low tunings
Stan.G 20.03.2020
Using couple of sets of these strings so far. I put them on my 25.5" scale Ibanez which is tuned to A (no drop). Sounds tight and resposive!
These strings I can also call durable, as they have their chime for long time.
Definitely can say I'm long term fan of GHS.

Heavy!
DarkFvNeRaL 21.06.2022
If you like heavy strings that can stay in tuner after you totally bang them, this is what you need.
If you are a "light" player maybe this is too much.

Perfect strings for standard half step down tuning of 7 string giuitar
Alexander Motor 04.11.2020
Great sounding perfect in tuning 7 string set.
To me it works perfectly with half-step down standard tuning (lower string in Bb (A#); highest in Eb (D#) ).
Only one thing, I would like to have a lower string a little bit thicker maybe 70 or 68 for better tuning in the moment of attack. But I play guitar very hard, so it can be issue only for me. Anyway, it's manageble and easy to fix.
