nice little handy practice pad
i own few pratice pads, different sizes, and althougt i am the fan of full size 14" practice pads for home purposes, this little one is my favorite for traveling. It is with me most of the time, and i find it extremly handy.
Also i'm very satisfied with the quality of the rubber, good response and feeling. Playability is of course different than on practice pads with a stand, this is different because your arms fall differently on the pad whic is not on the stand, but on your leg, but in the and that's something that you are aware of when you see this product.
All in all....i recommend it!

Portable but not optimal
This thing is really small which is nice for practicing accuracy but it forces you to turn a bit to the left or right, depends on which leg you put it on. Sitting in a "turned" position is a bit uncomfortable compared to a pad that you put center in front of you. The feel of this pad is also a bit hard, doesn't feel like a drum head at all. Long story short great for the money and good for practice.

Exactly what I was looking for
With this pad I can practice rudiments wherever I want to without the problem of finding a spot to put the pad on so it won't bounce away or make to much noise or anything like that.
The strap holds it where you put it (on your leg) and the rebound is nice; of course not like playing on a snare drum but like playing on a pad.
The only thing you should be aware of is that the distance to the pad is determined by the length of your thigh. And the angle of the playing surface of course is analog to your thigh as well.
It also might be a good idea to check out the actual diameter of the pad so you're not disapointed by how smal it is. For me, I can say that the size of the pad is adequate for practicing rudiments, stick control and similar stuff on it.
The quality seems to be quite good. Feels like it will last a long time.
Oh, and it does not hurt ;-)
I can recommend this product.

The ultimate go-anywhere practice tool
This compact knee pad will surprise you. It comes with a durable knee velcro strap that is large enough to suit any needs. The surface of the pad is 4" in diameter, which will be enough for most uses. The thickness of the pad is just 1/2", so to make it as lightweight as possible, but you will be surprised by the realistic, natural feel that this tool will give you: with excellent rebound and silent response, this really could be the the ultimate tool for backstage and travel practice! And last but not least: this pad is small and light enough to fit practically everywhere, even in your stick bag!

Perfect for portability
There may be better similar practice knee pads available but this one does the job. The strap is slightly awkward but in terms of portability and weight it's great. Stick response is also good. Not silent by any means but equally not over bearing volume wise either.

Totally okay
Its material is pretty good and it is really perfectly mobile. You can take it easily everywhere in your pocket with you and it is totally okay for casual practices and backstage warming-ups. I even use it most of the time I am home. 100% suggested.

Not good enough for my main practice pad
The product is of high quality and has a firm surface with pretty good rebound (harder than most pads, softer than marching pads i suppose). The strap works fine and is big enough for almost all leg sizes.
I bought this practice pad for practicing during my train commute. I found out it's not the right solution for me because when it's straped to my leg, I cannot reach it comfortably. I can play it using traditional grip, but that's not what I bought it for. You cannot really mount it to something else than your leg so I ended up not using it...

You Kneed this in your life
Great little portable product! It fits in the back pocket and is easy to attach, use and have while watching TV or something. Looses a star for two reasons: the response is probably too forgiving, and the nature of the beast, is that the reach is probably too close to your body than a normal snare. Still great.

useful gadget
This practice pad is the perfect tool to practice when you're on the way.
You can store it in nearly every pocket because of it's small size but it provides a surface big enough to hit it with good accuracy. And the strap to fix it on your leg is a simple thing which makes this pad even more useful.
