Not worth it, unfortunately

The guitar is good overall, it plays nicely and I liked the pickups. However, it had visual, although small, but unacceptable imperfections such as bad fretwork in some places, visible glue and tool marks. At this price rate, it’s absolutely not acceptable. I’ve returned the guitar back.

Nice sound, QC could be better

Nice sound both plugged and unplugged. Very resonant instrument. Wider neck the average Gibson neck (at least the one I tried). But the one I tried had some QC issues: high action from factory set up, fa bit of rett buz (probably due to high action), finish (paint/surface) not even/level, laquer on the side of fretboard (unacceptable at this price point and brand).

Tolle Explorer mit kleinen Abzug in der B Note

Grundsätzlich muss ich sagen, dass Gibson seit 2020 qualitativ wirklich wieder abliefert! Verarbeitungsqualität, Einstellung, Specs... alles Top Top.

So nun auch bei der 80s Explorer. Optisch simple und clean gehalten, besticht sie durch eine super Verarbeitung und Werkseinstellungen.

Ein kleiner Abzug bekommt die Gitarre beim Sound, der Grundcharakter der 80s Humbucker ist richtig geil, es fehlt ihnen aber ein bisschen an Output, hätte mir erhofft, dass sie ein bisschen heißer klingen.

Aber rundum eine super Explorer und absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Gibson vuelve a estar en la cima!

Esta guitarra me ha sorprendido para bien. Durante algunos años anteriores sentí que la calidad de la marca había bajado considerablemente…Pero al recibir esta nueva Explorer, he podido comprobar que hoy en día están al más alto nivel respecto a construcción de guitarras. Estoy realmente contento con ella.
