Na een Les Paul Studio van Gibson werd het tijd voor deze semi hollow van het hetzelfde merk. Deze semi hollow voelt vertrouwd maar lichter aan. De body is wel ietsje groter dan de LP maar zit makkelijk spelen niet in de weg. En de klank...? Prachtig. Meer warmte maar ook zeker de typische nagalm van een Les Paul.
De afwerking is prachtig. De lak is doorzichtig genoeg om de prachtige houtnerf goed te kunnen zien. De hals, hoogglans zwart gelakt, ligt zeer prettig in de hand wat voor mij, met wat kleinere handen, ideaal is.
