Awesome guitar
Wish it came with a hard case. Minor issue with the rhythm/lead knob bouncing out off treble to middle to easy. Plays perfect after ajusting the action as the factory setup was miles to high on the base side.

Dream guitar for the Sabbath worship, stoner, and doom. Great playability, sustain, balanced tones between the two pickups.

Looks nice, plays nice
As guitar tech I saw a couple of flaws in the workmanship at the transition from the binding to the neck wood and a slight edge between the nut base and the neck wood. The nut slot on the G string was a bit too high, but with the right tools it can be solved in 30 minutes. No big deal, but Gibson QC needs to do better. The guitar itself has a good sound, the tuners are excellent, it stays tune, after adjusting the truss rod, the action can be adjusted to 1.5 mm on the low E string. The frets are excellent, the fingerboard has a very nice dark color, especially after the application of lemon oil. The neck is one of the thinnest and most comfortable I've played. Gibson-branded electronics satisfy with quality, as do the bridge

USA price range, but it holds the price
well in case of eventual re-sale. Overall satisfied, It's a keeper.

Very sloppy workmanship, not worth the money anymore.
Sent 2 Gibson SGs back to Thomann, The first one I received was so poorly made it was ugly, so many defects all over the guitar, scratches, paint where it shouldn't be, scratches all over the body, the paint job was amateur to say the least, was the thinnest possible layer of paint, in certain lights can see the circle buff marks. Just didn’t seem right. So, I returned the guitar and Thomann sent me a replacement. The replacement they sent is even worse, rough jagged edges on the cut of the wood, where the neck meets the body there is paint overlapping on to the neck, scratches all over, and yet again an amateur paint job, so needless to say i sent this one back as well, So after a month of stressing about guitars ive ended up with no guitar and Im now waiting for a refund.

Great Guitar!!
Great guitar and big enhancement for me, as I had a low cost guitar till now.
I am 11 year old saving 3 years for this guitar and was worthy every single penny. You get really Angus Young sound and enjoy a lot playing with this easy to play guitar.

The Ultimate Emo Guitar
The SG is an absolute staple of 90 and early 2000s emo.
Pick ups are absolutely great for SDRE, Braid and Mineral adjacent tones, neck feels fantastic to play and the lightweight body is awesome for playing standing, looks incredibly too.
