Great bridge for the price
I own a hipshot A and B style. While for the A style I understand why it's priced as is, the B style I find overpriced. This is a great alternative, and you have string trough body if you decide to do that. I do like the quick "release" of the strings so I can easily clean the fingerboard or change the strings.

serious upgrade for a Squier P-Bass
I recently installed this bridge on my Squier Precision Bass, and the difference was immediate. The overall feel and sustain improved noticeably β notes ring longer and the low end feels tighter and more controlled. For the kind of heavy, fuzz-driven doom and stoner tones I play, that extra focus in the low frequencies really matters.
The build quality is excellent β solid, perfectly machined, and heavy enough to add some real resonance without killing the natural vibe of the instrument. String alignment was spot-on right out of the box, and the quick-release system makes string changes ridiculously easy.
Tone-wise, the bridge gives the bass more clarity and punch, but still keeps that warm, vintage P-Bass character. Combined with EMG GZR pickups and my pedal chain (fuzzes, octaver, overdrive, and the Palmer Pocket Amp Bass), it feels like the whole instrument finally opened up β more definition, more sustain, no dead spots.
For the price, this bridge is a killer upgrade if you want your Squier to perform like a high-end instrument. Itβs not just cosmetic β you can feel and hear the improvement.

Looks great on my p-bass, but still modest.
Easy replacement for a vintage bridge.

Quality, great design but pricey.
Superbly designed, although worth noting its not a direct replacement for fenders, bit of drilling is needed, it has provisions for through body stringing but my favorite feature is the slotted anchors for the ball ends, making string changes much quicker and easier if say, changing from rounds to flats etc.
