Maybe not SD Pearly Gates, but it is 5 times cheaper
I will keep it in one short sentence: A very good-sounding, obscenely cheap guitar pickup with solid build (properly wax potted also).
Now bit more context and details.
Since late 80’s I am using DiMarzio pickups, with some exceptions for SH Pearly Gates in two shorter scale guitars. Call me spoiled grandpa.
I bought this pickup as replacement for the original neck pickup in cheap as hell Harley Benton ST-Modern HH. And it made huge difference. Less overall output, but more dynamics, more harmonics, more healthy warmth.
Clear recommendation if you are on budget and need low output, old Gibson-style pickup.
