Excellent quality
I am a fan of locking tuners simply for the ease and speed of changing strings and last but not least the improved tuning stability.
I have chosen these tuners to replace the original ones used by Fender (USA) who were "self-locking". I prefer those with a knurled screw on the back as for me it is easier and faster to change strings.
As the package includes two sizes of push-in sleeves I took those which fitted my Stratocaster (USA) best and the tool was very helpful in getting those installed in the headstock.
The tuners are very smooth, good looking and fit like a glove.
The price ratio I think is unbeatable considering the quality of these tuners.
For me a no brainer and I would buy them anytime again!

Disappointing quality
Disappointing quality: inconsistency between tuners and unstable tuning behavior
I had high expectations for these Gotoh MG‑T vintage locking tuners, but this set is disappointing. The tuners feel different from one another: some turn almost without resistance, while others have slightly more friction. That should never happen with Gotoh.
The biggest issue is the very low drag torque. When loosening, it feels as if the string almost pulls the tuner back. When tightening, the tuner reacts so directly that you easily overshoot the correct pitch. As a result, tuning feels unstable and imprecise.
This behavior is typical of a set with too little worm‑gear preload and inconsistent factory lubrication, in short, a bad batch. A shame, because Gotoh normally delivers very consistent quality. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this set.
