Gretsch Drums 14"x5" Black Nickel over Steel

Purchased this specifically for developing brush skills, plus ordered a Remo Skyntone Head for the same reason. Build quality is excellent, as you would expect from Gretsch. Being steel, the sound is crisp and tight and is so good that I didn't bother replacing the Remo head supplied with it. For me, this is an ideal snare for developing my brush skills, particularly given the excellent price.
