Built to last
Hardcase is really made from a lasting quality. I've once bought a big timbale case, one of the earlier generation Hardcases.
It survived more than a decade of rigid gigs, foreign tours, plane trips, everything, and it's still intact, even looking good.
These cases have a good formula between being rigid, looking good and...being light of weight..
This 10" case is used by me for a Tama 8" Metal effect works snare, including an 8" Alesis drumpad.
Take into consideration that these 8" compact drums often have a tomholder screwed on that sticks out at least 2 inches, so you really need a 10" to put them in.
Put some foam in between the empty spaces and it stays put.
I also put foam on top on the inside top lid of my snare cases, for extra protection.
The beauty of the strap system is that when I loosen the straps, you'll create at least 1 inch+ extra space in depth.
So I can even put another pad on top of the other 2, tighten the straps back and everything stays solid inside.
It's even got a name tag. That will never rip off either.
Superb case. Not the cheapest, but worth every penny.

Excellent!
I bought this to use with my Mangini 10" snare, and the only slight issue is that it's a little tight due to the Tom mount used on that particular snare.
It is however, very light, easy to carry and very sturdy. Would reccomend!

I really love this Hardcase drum cases because they fit your drum to the exact depth, they're durable and sturdy, and this is a difficult size for a snare case to find, I am very happy with my purchase I recommend them at any size
