This Hercules smartphone holder is sturdy and really stays in place, it's just "set it and leave it"!

Easy to fix on any stand and even tried on my desk, but not sure it will work on thicker ones.

The orientation is set in seconds to put the smartphone in vertical or horizontal position.

Undeniable great quality from Hercules, easy to use, totally worth the investment, couldn't be happier

Packs a lot of options in a relatively compact set: the item is composed of three parts that can be detached at will: see last two pictures of the listing here.
- Just the holder itself can be screwed onto a tripod or mic stand with a standard 1/4" thread.
- The holder + ball-joint can be clamped onto the end of a mic stand, or onto an old broken music stand, in my case.
- The full three piece set can be clamped onto a table yes, but also anywhere on the pole of a mic or music stand.

I cannot comment on long-term performance, but it's made of quality materials (as expected from Hercules), so expected to not break anytime soon.
