Stylish lower profile jacks

I love these jacks for instrument cable and off-board patch cables, they're smart looking, the interior is very similar in layout to the Neutrik jacks so really easy to assemble... but the outside is smaller than the Neutrik - sleek and stylish.

Works really well with Sommer Spirit XXL cable.. lovely looking and sounding cables that have lasted great so far.

Good plugs

As all Hicon jack plugs I`ve used this one is great. Super easy to solder, bomb proof quality and they look and feel great. It`s not going to break any time soon.

I got some of these Hicon jacks mainly for my pedal board as they're a bit smaller than regular neutrik and I love em ! Nice solid metal body that screws to jack & no problems soldering them .. and at a great price ! Only now my OCD sure wants to replace all my other jacks with these, even the neutrik ones !

The plug seems sturdy and reliable but the inner pin become loose as is the typical failure with cheap plugs and it starts to crackle and drop out.
This with not much use and no misuse.
Cant recomment.

Bigger than 7.2mm, but good

I bought it to use with Sommer Spirit LLX. The jack specs say "cable diameter 7.2mm", however, the connector sleeve is bigger than that. I think it would fit for an 8.2mm cable. Anyways, the assembled cable looks good, the connector is sturdy and doesn't loosen up. Recommended.

solid Jack!

Good Jack! fits the wire up to 7.2mm! but I fitted it with 7.8mm Cable SC-Meridian SP225F with no problem :)
