The pan flute does the job, it's exactly what to expect. And it's fun when you know how to play it. It’s such a pleasant, unusual, and fascinating instrument.

Now just a very important clarification:

For the absolute beginner interested in playing the pan flute: be prepared for a very difficult start.

First of all, I strongly recommend finding an online teacher who can properly teach you the basics before buying it.

Don’t be fooled by the flute’s simple, sober design. You will have to master the embouchure method which is going to take you quite some time. Without mastering it, you will not be able to produce a clear sound.

Then you will have to figure out which pipe corresponds to which note.

It’s such a niche instrument that finding good learning resources can be quite a challenge.

If you have a teacher and you are committed to learning how to play, go for it. Otherwise, you might want to start with a different instrument.

Ich bin kompletter Anfänger und bin ohne große Vorkenntnisse - Recherche ist selbstverständlich vorher erfolgt - sehr froh keine günstigere Panflöte erworben zu haben. Der Zufall (ich konnte eine andere Panflöte bei anderer Gelegenheit wahrnehmen :() brachte die Erkenntnis, dass die Töne dieser Panflöte seehr angenehm sind. Übung liegt allein beim Spieler und der muss besser werden. Sehr zu empfehlen
