I mainly use this case to go to lessons and orchestra. So regular use. For travel (on land), I use my older, bigger case. The only downside I could find was that there's no room for sheet music, but that was to be expected, since it's a hard shell case. Since I always carry either a tote bag or a backpack, I don't find an issue with that.
