Serious bang for the buck

I found that the JBL 306P are better than my Yamaha HS-8s. They just have a cleaner and more powerful sound, especially when cranked up. The 306P are also well cheaper! Interestingly though, I experimented with both systems stacked on top of one another (306P on top of HS-8s), man do they sound great. And this is even without a sub. It means I don't need to crank up the total volume near as much and it still has satisfying power to the sound. Highly recommend combining these. It's like they cancel out the bad of each other.
The listening experience is what counts at this price, not the quality. Don't attempt to analyse speakers for their accuracy for anything in this € range!

Perfection!

I just got these speakers. I produce both music and film. I absolutely love these little guys. Clean and true sound. I’d buy them again in a heartbeat!

6.5 woofer is more than enough for me, I had a pc speakers something from logitech(z623), no compare term.

Was good at first....

Bought a pair of these about 6 months or so back, loved them at first, but then the HISSING came around and OMG sometimes I can't bear that. Also after 6 months I noticed that one of the monitors became weird - every 10 mintues or so of use made only one monitor go quiet for like 3 seconds (not that the sound dissapeared but it just goes quite which i hate) and no - it's not the sleep function, it just malfunctions. It's not a big problem tho and the sound is great if you don't get annoyed by your monitors hissing a bit.

good monitor, but have a problem with the crossover frequency at 1400hz, and have a lot off ground noise when is silent.
good low end
good for a 2nd monitor
