I just bought a series of these, to mount two or more shure sm58 on the same bar. The screw seems well made and firm when clamped.

Perfect for multi mic arrays

I have made several stereo bars of various lenghts to accomodate 4 mics. The K&M Screw is ideal for connecting the mic-clip or shockmount. In fact, some of my stereo bars have multiple K&M Screws affording me choices with mic spacing.
The K&M Screw is so economical and of such quality that it is not worthwhile making my own screws. I strongly recommend them for mounting mics on bars up to 6mm thick.
