You'll notice this when you take this in your hands and compare it with the totally worn out part you're about to replace.

Using it to refurbish almost 30y old retro chrome mic. stands I don't even know the brand of, but with all the right threads.

Great spare part policy by K&M.

K+M make the best Mic Stands in the world. Beautiful Finish and very solid. All the spares are the same quality and just replace effortlessly on to the old stands. Black is always nice in a finish. Having 100 boom stands in an Orchestra setting blends in more easily than a nickel finish. No drooping stands here no matter how heavy the mic. Thanks K+M
