The LD Systems Maui 28 G2 White is a compact, plug-and-play PA column system that, with its stylish white design, is suitable as both a discreet monitoring unit and an unobtrusive PA system. But this active column system, consisting of a line array and a subwoofer, is not just space-saving and low-profile: It also couldn't be easier to set up, with a plug-and-play design that means that users can get to work almost immediately. Its two satellite speakers feature sixteen 3" midrange drivers and two additional 1" diameter tweeters. The subwoofer is equipped with two 8" woofers and a bass reflex system that delivers even more low-end.

Plenty in the tank

The LD Systems Maui 28 G2 White has great specs, with 2000W peak and 1000W RMS power ensuring that it can provide sound for around 100 to 150 people, despite its minimalistic aesthetic. Each mono system delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 126dB SPL. At the high end, its frequency range extends up to 20kHz, and thus to the limits of human hearing, and the low end frequency response reaches down to an impressive 45Hz. Users looking for even more bass can connect another subwoofer to the XLR sub output. Of course, the sound processed in the system can also be passed on to a monitor or FOH mixing console via the System Out jack. If this seems like altogether too much effort, users can adjust both the overall volume and the bass levels of the G2 on the device itself.

Ready for anything

Singers, moderators, and presenters – indeed anyone who works with their voice – can connect a microphone directly to the designated input of the LD Systems Maui 28 G2 White. Its combo socket can accommodate both XLR and jack connectors. The same applies to the two line inputs; in addition, two RCA sockets are provided here, for example for hifi equipment. Singer-songwriters can plug their acoustic guitar directly into the jack socket of the instrument input. And as befits a modern compact PA, there's also a mini-jack for connecting a laptop, smartphone, or tablet. If a device with Bluetooth functionality is available, it can also be connected wirelessly to the Maui 28 G2.

Plutôt bien mais avec des restrictions !!

LD systems est de bonne fabrication et sonne plutôt bien, mes clients adhérent au son et à l'élégance du produit mais par pitié arrêtons un peu de nous faire croire qu'on a à faire à une sonorisation de haute puissance ! ça reste une sono de petite salle ou piano bar confortable mais je l'ai mise en action dans une salle contenant 250 personnes qui voulaient danser sur de la musique " live " avec un Synthé, 2 chanteurs et un Sax et croyez moi que très rapidement j'ai été dans le OVER et j'ai dû immédiatement baisser le volume au risque de mettre la sono en danger. Très honnêtement c'est du 250W max avec un son type " hifi " mais pas " sono " comme on l'entend ! mais Bose ne fait pas mieux et en plus c'est du plastique alors que là c'est du Bois ;..de toute façon , à moins de croire encore au père Noël , on ne peut pas faire du Gros avec de la petite taille . Ceci étant je ne regrette pas mon achat car cette solution est bien pratique et fiable

Mehr braucht man nicht

Für private Partys der ?gehobeneren? Klasse ist die Maui 28 eine perfekte Soundanlage. Nach akustischen Vergleichen mit zwei weiteren ca. 1000 Watt Systemen (jeweils Single-Lautsprecher) hat die Maui 28 durch ihren warmen Druck und den klaren Höhen, die weit in die tanzende Menge abstrahlen, klar gewonnen.
Wer Pluspunkt in Sachen Sound war: die Maui hat den ?Tanzfaktor 100?. Die anderen Boxen haben nicht so stark zu Tanzen animiert. Meine erste Testveranstaltung war mit 60 Leuten auf einem offenen Platz, wobei die Lautstärke nicht ausgereizt werden musste. Der Bass war sehr präsent!
Die Bedienung ist sehr zuverlässig und Bluetooth bleibt stabil. Das Gehäuse robust und hochwertig.
Bei einem Einsatz innerhalb eines großen Hauses (Pultdach mit 4,5 m Deckenhöhe) könnte sie auch durch einen ausgewogenen Klang überzeugen. Sie kommt mir fast so stark vor wie zwei Maui 11.

Von mir volle Punktzahl und uneingeschränkte Kaufempfehlung.

realmente para lo que cuestan aspiraba mas de estos altavoces, he de reconocer que la estetica es impecable de hecho es de lo que mas llama la atencion al publico que los ve, sin embargo además de no sonar como yo pensaba en cuanto a potencia y volumen, se me quemo la placa de potencia en una fiesta hace poco de manera inexplicable ya que clipeaba como siempre lo ha hecho en los ultimos 50 eventos que e tenido con estos altavoces, actualmente estoy en la busqueda del repuesto..no estoy seguro de recomendar estos altavoces para eventos de mas de 100 personas
